Vertical Life magazine is going Back to the Future. We are going print!

Yep, we are going to put out four print magazine issues a year – that's four beautiful tomes of papery, badarse climbery goodness delivered directly to your door. Read it, hold it, roll it up and whack your mate behind the ears if he hasn’t signed up.

But we're not stopping at four issues, we're throwing in one of our special collector’s edition ‘Best Of’ magazines covering the digital issues 16–23. That means that for your Vertical Life subscription you get FIVE ISSUES! The Best Of sent out in the pre-Christmas mail and then four print issues, beginning in March 2019. Maaaaateeeee!!!!!! 

We have produced 26 completely free digital editions over six years and we hope you have loved Vertical Life enough that you feel it is worth supporting to catapult the mag into print. So we're launching this campaign to rally the subscriptions we need to push the print button. We are super excited about going to print but (obviously) we need YOU (aka subscribers) to make it work. To make a quarterly print magazine a reality, we need your upfront support.

Next year we will also be selling the magazine via selected specialist outdoor retailers along with the best bouldering and climbing gyms in the land. The regular magazine sub will run to $15 per issue so you are getting a steal of a deal in this Pozible campaign.

The use of funds raised will be very uncomplicated – the money from subs will pay for material, editing, design, printing and shipping of the 'Best Of' magazine and four print editions of Vertical Life in 2019.

We do have some great advertisers who have long supported the magazine through the digital years and they. like us, are psyched on Oz having a printed climbing magazine again. However, in order for the printed mag to be viable we need subscribers to be the beating heart of the budget. We want to continue to tell you Australia's climbing story, only now we are going to be doing it in print.
