I am about to commit to something bigger than anything I have ever embarked on before. First, if you disagree with this, then I urge you to please keep it to yourself, but if you back me then please put your hand up to be a part of our team.

We have now had 3 attacks on our city (Melbourne) over 2 years. No one would have ever thought these could happen in Melbourne, a place that is friendly, welcoming and diverse yet here we are only months away from the Anniversary of last years Flinders street attack where my nephew and I were witness to and now we have had another attack.

Now I don't know if there is anything I can do to stop this from happening, but I am not going to cower in my apartment and live in fear!

So I am calling on help from the amazing people of Melbourne.

I have a group of 120 artists, friends, family and people who want to help (this group is growing everyday) and together we are writing a song, recording it and making a video to send a message to the world, Melbourne will not live in fear.

The time line so far is to record the song by 23rd November with a plan to make a video December 2nd on location through Melbourne. The vision for the video is to feature Melbourne's landmarks completely filled with people, all ages, colors, races, sexuality, dress up or not, show that we do love each other and stand together against this fear.

Locations will be organised through council and police.

Then we make the song go viral.

We now have studio and rehersal rooms organised.

Some of getting this project completed is oing to take funds and that is mainly insurance and public liability.

Then on recording and filming days we would love to feed the team.

As I am planning this and thiking of all the elelments that go with it, I can see more expenses that will need to be covered and one will be securty during our filiming of the large crowd of volunteers. 

Any funds left over will be donated to victims of these 3 crimes.

So please join me in telling the world, Melbourne will not cower and succumb to fear.
