Melbourne Moonshine is a craft distillery based in central Melbourne and honours the American prohibition era by producing traditional Moonshines from locally sourced Victorian Corn.  Owned and operated by two pasionate distillers, one of which was born and raised in South Carolina, Melbourne Moonshine is always focussed on quality over quantity.

Uncle Rocco's, a pioneer of the traditional barbering scene that has become increasingly popular in the last few years is planning to establish their second barbershop at the front of the Melbourne Moonshine Distillery.

The funds will be used to build a small bar and coffee shop in the front of the distillery (alongside the barbershop)  which will allow the public to come in and sample the Melbourne Moonshine products as well as locally sourced beers from partner breweries and carefully selected coffee from Campos Coffee.

The Bar/Coffee shop will be a casual place where you can relax and watch the distillers in action or just catch up on street press goings on in a restored inner city warehouse setting.  It will serve as a space to wait for your cut from Uncle Rocco's or just past time and enjoy local craft spirits and beer.  Regular events will be held on weekends and the facility will trade various hours between from 7am to 11pm.

A liquor licence is already held for the property  (Lic. No. 36142884).

Melbourne Moonshine are seeking funds to help build things like -  bar and back bar as well as purchase equipment like fridges, ice machine and glass washers.  These are just some examples of how the Pozible money will help this new place to hang out become a reality.

The only obstacles we see are obtaining the target dollars.  We have a liquor licence, have great friends in hospitality such as Campos who are already supporting us and we a great mates with the folk at Uncle Roccos.  This is a match made in heaven.
