UPDATE #1

WOW! Thank you so much for all your support so far! I can't believe I hit my target in 48 hours, just so amazing!

Not wanting to sound greedy I do have a personal target/wish to reach the goal of $5000.

What will I do with the extra money raised? Any monies raised over my target will be spent wisely! The recording process itself isn't the only expence I have to incur, there is also the cost of CD production, paying for artwork & publicity & promotion & video clips .. just to name a few!

So, if I can reach my personal goal of $5000 I will be able to tick off the CD production cost box,  if I could raise $6000 that would cover my artwork. AND, if we enter into "make Gretta's wildest dreams come true" land and got $10,000 I would be able to pay for a publicist and maybe even get a video clip done! 

Why not just ask for that in the first place you ask?? Well running a crowdfunding campaign is a bit of a risk, you never quite know how you'll go AND if you ask for too much you may not reach your goal and then get zero, which understandably can leave you up the proverbial creek without a paddle!

What can you do to help? Every dollar helps, every share or post on social media helps, every time you mention this or email a friend about my campaign it helps.

My oh my how time has flown!!

I can't believe that it's been 2 years since I released my debut EP "Hell's Half Acre" !! I am still in wonder over all the things that those 5 tracks have achieved, like spots in the Country Music & CMC video charts, finalist places in the International & Unsigned only Songwriting compeitions and  CMC New Oz Artist of the Year nomination, just to name a few!

BUT it has been 2 years..... there have been many more songs written since, I've matured and evolved as a songwriter & performer and I'm more than ready to get back into the studio to show you all the next step for Gretta Ziller. 

It's an Album!

As much as I love HHA I feel like it was only a taste, and I've had so many folks come up to me over the past few years complaining that the EP was too short .... so this time I was committed to making an album!

Making any sort of recording isn't cheap so your contributions will go towards recording my album, paying all the muso's who will play on it as well as the producer!

I have saved a lot of what I need to record but am looking for your support to raise the rest.

I am only asking $3000, however any monies raised above this will go towards all the other costs involved once the recording part is done, artwork, CD printing, publicity etc!

I guess there are a lot of challenges when you are an independent artist making a record. But the big 3 are;

1. You need to write the songs - I've been preparing and writing for 2 years so this one isn't a problem!!
2. You need to find a producer - Well I feel like I've hit the jackpot with that one! I am working with a darling hearted producer by the name of Paul Ruske who works out of Woodstock Studios here in Melbourne. Paul is an amazing singer & songwriter in his own right but is also a brilliant prodcer. We have been working together for a few months now in pre production on my songs and I am just so dang happy with how it's all sounding 
3. Finding the funds - As I wrote before, I have saved a lot of what I need already but really need your support for the rest.
