Interactive and Visual Design 2017 Graduate Show – Disrupt

This year, another batch of Interactive and Visual Design (IVD) students are set to graduate from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), looking to disrupt the modern age of design.

To mark our first year of the interdisciplinary graduate exhibition—where we are joined by the Industrial Design and Fashion graduating years—the final year IVD students will be examining what it means to be an emerging designer within the Creative Industries, exploring the concept of Disruption. The works in the Disrupt Exhibition will showcase the talents and efforts of the 2017 graduating class and is the culmination of their final semester of study.

This immersive multi-level exhibition will be held at the QUT Kelvin Grove Campus in the new Z9 building. We would love it if you could join us on this special night, and engage with our social media platforms Instagram, and Facebook for sneak peaks into our graduates projects, and processes. Engagement and support amongst our online platforms will be invaluable to us as emerging artists and designers to establish ourselves in our professional communities.

The QUT Interactive and Visual Design Kids of 2017.

As Disrupt is being developed, managed and produced entirely by us, the graduating students of IVD, we need your support to disrupt disruption, and craft a bespoke exhibition like no other. We are looking to family, friends, peers, industry professionals, and the greater design community, for a little support in helping make this final exhibition everything that has been envisioned.

We aim to raise a minimum of $1000 to cover all expected costs, including printing, construction and production of the internal exhibit space, and awards and prizes that will be presented on the night.

In return for your generosity, we have a number of rewards to choose from and a lot of love to give you.

As this exhibition is a required for us to complete our degrees, we will still put on the exhibition regardless of whether or not this campaign meets it's target. If we do not raise the required amount of funds, it will mean that we won't be able to produce an exhibition to the standard that we all are so deeply motivated to achieve.
