Story and Genre

Bounce tells the story of Nell, who gains the ability to 'bounce' to a paradise-like world at will, evading the stresses and emotional hurt of the real world. It is not until her physical condition and relationship with her sister Jen worsen that she must consider whether she should live in an ideal dream-world; or a harsh reality.

Bounce is a 5 minute Sci-Fi short that will contain both the moody atmosphere of 'The Mirror' with the emotional weight and drama of  'Mustang'  to create a simultaneously human and other-worldly story that will equally engross and emote. 

The Team

Bounce is being created by four Swinburne Film and TV students who have been given the opportunity to create a film on 16mm film stock, which visually is amazing in quality and will greatly support the storytelling of the film but isn't cheap. As such we are seeking any and all donations big or small in helping us bring this project to life.

Your donation will go towards funding: 

- The Purchasing and Transportation of 16mm Film Stock (approx $350AUD)

- Processing and Scanning the film to a Digital Format (approx $100AUD)

- On Set Costs such as Costumes, Lighting, Props and Catering (approx $250)

-As well as any other unforseen costs that goes into a production
