A little under 3 years ago, Amanda and Gillian set out to develop a new collaboration that questions the typical relationship between sound and contemporary dance and create a new, unique sound experience.

Slow Twitch Collective (Amanda, Gillian and Chelsea) will premiere BODY ACOUSMONIUM, their first immersive, sound art and dance performance at Melbourne Fringe Festival 2019! The groundbreaking performance presents a warm amalgamation of organic human and digital sound, experienced from within a 9 speaker set up, allowing sound to become it's own identity that can be seen and felt.

We have committed the past two years to developing the collaboration and performance.  It has been through 3 self-funded developments with in-kind support from Lucy Guerrin Inc. and Barre Body, but at this junction our budget has been eaten by dogs.
