We are a Melbourne based contemporary world music band with members from Australia, Colombia, Chile and Argentina creating a very unique and global mixture. With the support of our friends and community we have done numerous shows and performed at various Festivals like Melbourne Festival, St Kilda Festival, Jhonston Street Fiesta and more..

CUT TO THE CHASE / DIRECTO AL GRANO

For the past year and a half we have been working hard to finish our first album and prepare to launch it.  We are very excited to share it with all of you, however to be able to finish this process we need your support.

ABOUT THE ALBUM // ACERCA DEL DISCO

In this recording we have had the honour to have collaborated with artists from all around the world, including Stuart Fergie from OKA (Aboriginal Australian), Nhatty Man (Ethiopia), Tonolec (Argentina) and QVLN (USA). Here is a video we released last year from one of this amazing collaborations.

Our music is a reflection of how we perceive the world from a positive angle of multiculturality and diversity.

Many elements of Australiasia together with our South American heritage have a strong presence in our musical mix, incorporating the use of electronic sounds and beats with live instrumentation. This exploration has allowed us to discover connections between all genres, which we believe represent the new global culture of Australia.

Since then we have been gaining momentum and now is the time to show you the full album!!

The launch party will be on the 27th of April at the Gasometer on Smith street, in the heart of Melbourne, wih the support of local and international talents such as: QVLN (Mex/Brazil/USA), OVEOUS MAXIMUS (USA)

With your kind support, we will be able to release our debut album on CD together with some merch and goodies for everyone.

All the songs in the EP have been recorded but not fully mixed so the funds will help finalise the last process of production (mixing and mastering)

Also, we have come up with amazing design work that we will print onto merchandise such as T-shirts, stickers and digital download cards to give away.

The Launch

If we are able to pass the mark of $4755, all extra money will help us cover the cost of the Launch such as:

As you might know, being from somewhere else is already a challenge anywhere in the world!  We are lucky that we have a wide circle of friends from our community but we need to reach the wider community to help us and together we can create a much needed culture for everybody.  Music is culture and like Bob Marley once said, when it hits you, you feel no pain.  We want to hit everybody with this painless but rich-in-musical-heritage artform.

One challenge for us is to be able to record the moments we have created and deliver them to you, the public. This costs money and some of us live off just creating art and music. These are similar challenges that artists around the world also face. 

Another challenge is getting this music we create out into the Australian media world.  We live in a time of quick change, gimmicks and hype.  What we have here is real, unique, passionate and organic music that is world class.   It's great to have so much to say, but if nobody listens,  it's frustrating.  

Time is another challenge.  We need to get this baby up and running as soon as possible.  So if you're ready, we surely are!
