Hello music lovers and kind folk!

Well.. the time has come and I’m excited to say that I’ll be recording my Debut Album this coming July, to be released by September 2013. YAHOO! HOORAY!   < insert very happy and rather large smile here >

The Album will be a collaboration of original songs written over the past few years. With time spent between the beautiful North-West town of Broome and a couple of years living in Melbourne amongst the bright city lights, creativity continued to flow, stories became songs and I’m now ready to share these little treasures with YOU.

I’ll be working with fellow West Australian musician/engineer/producer, the wonderful Dave Mann. We’ll be setting up camp in a friend’s house, rearranging the furniture and lighting a musical fire. I’ll have some other creative and talented beings join us for the recording including Harry Jakamarra on Banjo and Albert Gray on Drums.. I like to call them my ‘Saltwater Bandits’.

Throughout my musical life I’ve performed in other bands (most recently Cats Ransom and Cumulo) where we chose to self fund our CD projects and tours. This time round I’m taking a new approach and with the help of yourself and Pozible crowd funding I’ll be able to take a little of the financial stress off myself and have more time to focus on the creative music making affair.

I’ve set my Pozible Campaign target at $3000. This only covers part of the total cost of the project but allows it to go ahead in conjunction with other means of funding. The money raised through Pozible will contribute towards  such things as:

Recording

Mixing

Mastering

Pressing and Printing of 1000 Albums

and Musicians
