Stuart MitchellGreat that you're funded! This is an awesome project. I pledged $100 back at the start of April but I haven't received anything about the campaign from you guys - also how do I activate my New Mathilda subscription??9y

Caroline GrahamI'm the founder of the new Northern Beaches Committee for Palestine and we are asking Baird for an interview with us, we have 4 surfers from his Manly electorate who would like to donate surf boards to Palestinians living in Gaza. Aust. troops stationed there in WW2 showed some locals how to surf back in the day and we hope Baird will show support for the continuation of this uniquely Oz contribution to perhaps alleviating just a little of the misery there, and showing our support.9y

Antifa Albury WodongaAntifa Albury Wodonga supports the people of Palestine in their goal of ending the illegal occupation by the state of Israel. Support the BDS campaign. Zionism is fascism. Solidarity to all supporting this cause. We will not be silenced.9y
Kaijin SoloIf you meet Hana Aswari tell her to hold fast what she has for me Love isn't always on time , well not what we think time is any way but when was the last time you saw a 6 hour day? The rogue male Bull Elephant of Africa went down town to blow his horn, and some idiot tourist got in his way, ruined his and my day, But the message of love remains the same.9y
Hala AbokamilI just read the comment below. I suggest letting Israelis know you intend to go to Lebanon after and they'll stamp a separate piece of paper to avoid stamping your passport. An Israeli stamp on a passport to Lebanon is a no-no.9y

Annee LawrenceHi Chris For some insight into Israeli and Palestinian societies from the point of view of writers, I really recommend: Isaksen, Runo. Literature and War: Conversations with Israeli and Palestinian Writers, Olive Branch Press, Northampton, Massachusetts, 2009. Cheers and good luck Annee Lawrence9y

Annee LawrenceHi Chris fyi Just be aware that you won't be allowed into Lebanon once you have an Israeli stamp in your passport so if you plan to go to Beirut, go there first. Best not to be lured into believing that the Israelis will kindly not stamp it. You might want to link up with Robert Fisk while you're in Beirut (The Independent). Annee Lawrence9y
