2017 Master of Fashion Grad show
We, the Master of Fashion (Design) graduates of 2017 at RMIT University, invite you to attend our graduate fashion show on Thursday November 16th at Melbourne’s M Pavilion.
We cannot wait to show you our masters projects and what we have spent the year working on, but we would love your support to help us make this happen!
This year’s graduating cohort celebrates the work of:
Jessie Kiely
Amber Reese
Vanessa Duque
Ling Li
Our group show will celebrate the diverse backgrounds of the graduates through creativity, collaboration and innovation. Responding to the beautiful 2017 M Pavilion structure, (this year designed by renowned Netherlands–based architects Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten of OMA), models will take to a intimate and immersive showcase.
RMIT University’s School of Fashion and Textiles is Australia’s leading institution in fashion education. The Master of Fashion (Design) program plays a vital role in shaping the future of the Australian fashion industry. The 2017 Runway is directed and produced by the graduating Masters cohort. In 2015 and 2016 the event has exceeded capacity and attracts Melbourne’s diverse creative and vibrant community.
We are approaching you, our hopeful audience, with the opportunity to support and be a part of this special student celebration. Your support would assist in delivering the 2017 Runway, covering set-up and staffing costs, AV (lighting and sound), hair and make-up, casting, photography, as well as additional equipment and infrastructure required for the evening.
You can see more information regarding the event on the M Pavilion site, as well as the biographies of the four designers involved through the link below.
