We have the talent and we have a great Manga. All we need now is your support.
With a number of comic labels focusing on their core profitable titles and giving less and less chances to people new to the industry, we feel that the services Ashcan provide are important for the long-term health of the comic industry.
Currently, all Ashcan offers contributors is the experience of creating comics at a professional level and free exposure through publishing them. We have not reached a point yet where we can pay writers and artists for their submissions. This is something we feel is very important and we are currently striving towards this goal.
And it's not just western style comics we are interested in either. While Australian-based comic publishers are becoming more common, there is a huge fanbase in Australia for manga and Eastern-influenced entertainment.
Iron Style is a 76 Page Manga-style comic released by Ashcan in 2012 that contains for awesome, action-packed stories which you can preorder here on Pozible as part of our rewards. It took all our contributors months of hard work to put it together and we're incredibly grateful for their efforts.
We want to pay the hard-working artists and writers behind Iron Style for their amazing work not only so they can continue to work on manga for you, but also because they deserve it.
