I am asking for your support in printing a second volume of my short stories, inspired by you!

The stories that will feature in the book are all set in Canberra, developed using my unique reader engagement model. Since 2014, I have invited social media users to nominate three items for me to weave into a short story set in Canberra, the capital of Australia.

I have written more than fifty stories to date, usually released online or via my podcast. Many readers told me that they would prefer to read the stories in book format, rather than on a computer or tablet. Based on this feedback, I crowdfunded a printed compilation of my first stories in 2014. The book was highly commended in the ACT Writers Centre's publishing awards. There are now only a handful books left for sale, so the time feels right to develop a second compilation with 14 new stories.

The new book will have a slightly different format than the first volume. I heard from readers that a standard novel sized format would make the book easier to read.  Based on your feedback, the second compilation will be packed with more stories and less photographs. It will still boast a Canberra-proud cover illustrated by a local artist.

Thank you again for all the support I received via pozible and social media for the first volume. I have learnt so much over the past few years, and I think this volume will be even better than the first. Here's a reminder of volume one:

Thanks to the wonderful support of Canberra community and book retailers, I can invest profits from the first book into the second. So this time round, I am only seeking a contribution towards the total printing and production costs. Crowd funding also gives me an indication of how many copies of the book I should print, and allows supporters to secure an autographed copy pre-release in time for Christmas.

The money raised will go towards:

- Printing the book with a local printer

- Licence fees for Adobe Indesign to lay out the book

- Barcode and ISBN

- Promotion
