This is the CODE philosophy and it’s the mission of our new CODE Apparel brand.

This simple but powerful message has already improved the mental health of over 16,000 young people in Australia, and we think it’s time to share it with even more.

While spreading such an important message, CODE Apparel will use 100% of its profits of the sale high-quality responsibly-manufactured apparel including T-shirts, hoodies, gym bags and stainless-steel water bottles, to fund life skills programs for young people to better manage challenges in their lives.

MENTAL HEALTH & YOUNG PEOPLE

Young people in Australia face worrying mental health challenges.

One in six young Australians currently suffers from anxiety. This equates to 440,000 young people aged between 12 and 17.  

The Victorian Government has confiirmed that mental health issues such as anxiety and depression widely affect children, young people and school communities. 

In 2017, young people identified mental health as their issue of top concern according to the Mental Health Survey Mission Australia.

We have partnered with the non-for-profit organisation TESSA Inc., who is currently delivering the MAT Life Skills Programs in over 50 schools and community agencies every week across Victoria.

Based on proven therapeutic frameworks such as trauma and attachment theories, individual psychology and cognitive behavioural therapy, the MAT Life Skills Program uses games and exercises to empower young people with strategies for emotional regulation, respectful relationships, resilience and active mindfulness.

However, the demand for this program is always increasing, with many schools, community agencies and families struggling to source the funding for these vital mental health initiatives.

This is where the launch of CODE Apparel comes in.

APPAREL SIZING

All sizing is in centimetres. 

Measurement A is taken around the chest, 2.5cm below the garment armhole. 

Measurement B is taken from the top of the collar to the bottom of the garment hem. 

Measurement C is taken from the shoulder seam of the sleeve to the edge of the sleeve.

With your help, this Pozible campaign aims to raise $30,000 to fund vital life skills programs.

This figure will provide us with the economies of scale required to place a volume order with our suppliers (remember that all our products are certified fair trade and organic cotton). These orders will establish our 2018 collection and will provide the funding to run over 80 sessions of life skills programs in schools and community agencies, benefiting over 150 young people.

This campaign will also allow us to improve our communication channels, especially social media platforms, and to set up our online store.
