Rachel Naparstek

Hello, my name is Rachel. I am a performer, writer and director. I have created a musical based on my life in lockdown.

What is Dream Room about?

Written during the lockdowns, Rachel was inspired by the isolation she was feeling. Dream Room is a semi-autobiographical musical featuring original music and lyrics. Rachel dreams and interacts with multiple characters in her room, including The Queen, Patrick Swayze and Freddie Mercury. Each character inspires her to fight back against the dreaded Coronavirus (a villain who torments her within her room). Dream Room features epic dream sequences (including an escape to Hollywood) and ultimately encourages us to follow our dreams.

How I made Dream Room

Over the last 2 years, I have been writing and recording songs for my musical; Dream Room. I have done this with a co-lyricist/Assistant Music Producer and a team of other creatives. We have developed simple backing tracks to support the songs. With Pozible crowdfunding support, seed funding will be invested to turn the songs into professional, high-quality tracks that are at a performance standard. Once the tracks are produced, I will be able to release a complete Album with all the Production's music, featuring my singing and song lyrics

I am at the final stages of creative development for my Musical Theatre Production. In 2 months, it will be performed live on stage. To ensure it is showcased in the highest quality and to best represent my last two years of hard work, the music tracks must be professionally produced. Each track will cost $800 to produce, and I have eight tracks.
