Ink and Ivory
Our Story
Ink and Ivory is a concept album and art exhibition in one, promoting the stages of creation humans undergo when creating art, and the non-linear nature these stages occur in. The primary reason behind the project is to promote the beauty of the process of creating art, rather than the final result, and how in a time where AI art is becoming ever more prevalent we need to remember how culturally significant art is for humanity. 'Ink and Ivory's main visual aesthetic is black and white, which reinforces the highs and lows that the process of creating art can undergo, while the main sonic aethetic features the genre of progressive rock and hyperpop/modern pop.
