We make artists' books collaboratively and have been doing so since 1999. To date, we have released 87 titles (unique state artists’ books, and limited editions of 10, 25, and 50), and 105 zine titles.
In our artists' books, prints, zines, drawings, and collages, we use play, humour, and perhaps the poetic as well, to reel you in closer. We call upon a wide range of sources, all the while seeking to explore, through inventive narrative, our relationship with the natural world, and the moral principles one governs the self by.
Our artists' books can be found in the collections of Artspace Mackay; Deakin University Library; Melbourne Museum; Melbourne University Library; Monash University Library; Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery; National Gallery of Australia; National Gallery of Victoria; National Library of Australia; RMIT University Library; State Library of New South Wales; State Library of Victoria; State Library of Queensland; Tate (UK); University of the West of England (UK), and others.
We have exhibited our works on paper at ACMI Mediatheque, Counihan Gallery, Craft, Fremantle Arts Centre, Geelong Gallery, LaTrobe Regional Gallery, Port Jackson Press Print Gallery, Maroondah Art Gallery, Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, RMIT School of Art Gallery, State Library of Victoria, University of Melbourne Baillieu Library, University of West England (UK), and others.
We created the unique state version of 'Prattle, scoop, trembling: a flutter of Australian birds' especially for the exhibition 'Birds: Flight paths in Australian Art' currently at Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery (until the 12th of February, 2017). The piece has been acquired by Artspace Mackay.
With our pozible campaign we are seeking to make 'Prattle, scoop, trembling: a flutter of Australian birds' into a printed edition of 100.
Each book will be hand editioned and signed. Only 100 will ever be printed. They will be priced at $70 AUD.

How The Funds Will Be Used
The funds raised will go towards the out-of-house printing and binding of 100 copies of our book with Banbra Press, Port Melbourne.
The total printing costs are $3100.
We plan to go to print early Febuary and launch the book mid March.
The book specifications are:
Cover with gold foil lettering
31 Leaves — Indigo Digital CMYK one side
22 Leaves — Indigo Digital Black one side
Final size — 210mm x 175mm (106 pages)
Bird collage insert — Indigo Digital CMYK (to be hand cut by us)

From social media to share your artwork and ideas to building a community of like-minded individuals, we can show you the nuts and bolts behind the screen. A bookbinding workshop that comes to you
A two hour portable workshop. We will come to your studio/home workspace and teach you how to make a concertina book or Solander box. On your workbench or kitchen table, we can help you nut out a binding plan or smooth some of the technical difficulties, teaching you some of the tricks of the bone folding world. (Only available to those in the Melbourne area or up to 30 minutes drive from CBD.)
