Hey guys,
We are AfterDark Theatre, a small independent circus company that has created a new show earlier this year. The show we created was 'The Barbaroi', which consisted of a cast of 7 amazing performers, and a nifty design team. It's a cool show about a crew of misfits and grifters that take you down the rabbit- hole of their circus, carny little world.
The first season was really well received in Melbourne, getting some amazing reviews. Now we want to take it to Adelaide for the 2016 Adelaide Fringe which is the second largest Fringe festival in the world; This is where we need your help.
We are a small company, and touring a production takes a HUGE amount planning and money; and unfortunately, being an independent company means that we take on the massive financial burden of trying to relocate our show to another city. We have no fancy big name producers bankrolling us, no touring production manager or government backing; just the love, blood, sweat and tears of seven carnies and their crazy director.
What's involved in a tour you ask and what do you need money for? -
Well, being on the road means we need to get accommodation which is the SINGLE biggest killer that stops a show making a tour. on top of that we have venue costs as we are funding it ourselves and are not in any partnerships with bigger companies.
Sounds impossible right? well it isn't impossible if we have your support.

How The Funds Will Be Used
We are not expecting to cover our entire budget through pozible; but we are looking at covering some of the more hardcore costs with an independent touring production.
Below is our rough costings just to get on the road.
Transport : $1000
Accommodation for the gang: $3000
Venue costs: $4800.
Ideally we are looking at covering the accommodation and transport costs to help us with getting this show on the road.

The Challenges
Our biggest challenge is not actually being able to afford to take this show on the road; this is why we need your help to make this happen. If we can reach our goal, then we will be able to ease the financial strain and take it further than Adelaide. If we are unsuccessful at hitting our goal, it may not be able to make it beyond Adelaide Fringe.
