Join Emma Bowen, co-founder of Sydney’s first community market garden, on the farm with up to 29 of your colleagues or friends for a 45 min tour. Established on an unused bowling club, the farm includes a 1200m2 ecological market garden growing vegetables for the local community, a community food forest, composting program, propagation greenhouse, and native bees. Take a tour of the space where Em will chat about why her and Zag are farming in the city, the benefits of urban farming, and daily operations and farming methods, as you take a walk through the different areas of the farm. Have some morning tea nibbles and a chat sitting by the farm after, if you're into that too. Date of tour subject to discussion and availability.
