Hi folks!
My name is Dave Hudson and I am a singer/songwriter born and bred in good ol’ Adelaide, South Australia. I really need your help to raise the funds to finish recording my Debut album “The Journey”.
How do I explain my heart and my passion for music? To me, music is the missing link for all of us. Its mystical qualities inspire us to dream and to express ourselves creatively and to feel emotions and ideas collectively. Music brings people together and encourages empathy and understanding for the plight of others. It’s a window into the collective soul of man.
Music has always been my way of facing the moments when I feel most alive - love, friendship, rejection, pain, life direction, spirituality and more. I truly believe music to be integral to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing processes we use every day to better our lives.
My music exposes a vulnerability in me and it’s taken quite some time to arrive at this place. It comes from deep inside me where only the truth resides and honesty is the law. The desire to make music and the talent to do so are gifts given to me by the universe and it seems right to pass those gifts on to others via that very desire.

How The Funds Will Be Used
Ok, your donations will be used in the following way...
I will be working with Nigel Grummet @ Hi Ball Studios, employing some of Australia's best session musicians.
1. Studio Hire - Preproduction, recording and mixing of 8 songs = $3200
2. Mastering x $75 per track = $600
3. Session musicians = $500 - $1500
4. Promotion & Launch – Artwork, Manufacture & duplication, printing, Album launch @ historical iconic music venue; The Wheatsheaf Hotel, promotions & advertising = $1500
TOTAL COST: $6800 + $200 in sundries.
The Challenges
Just summoning up the courage to ask for your pledge was my biggest challenge! This is the culmination of a life long journey for me (Hence the title of the album) and I truly believe this path is the correct one to my destination. I would love you to help.
