Welcome everyone, and massive rock n roll hugs to you all for visiting the band here for our 'Creative Crowdfunding adventure for our third independent album!!
So the really awesome thing about what we do is being able to create music that we want to make. We have no one looking over our shoulder, dictating what sort of songs we should be writing, we will never fall into trends in fear of ‘not being played on the radio’, we create art that we are channeled and born to nothing otherwise and because we know at the end of the day, we have you guys that help us. This also means we have no ‘major label’ financially backing us and we have to raise the funds to do this ourselves.
So far in our 8 year career, we have released two studio albums, one EP, toured Australia over 10 times, Europe (4 times), Canada, U.S, U.K and we are currently in the songwriting / pre-production phase of our 'proudly independent' third album.

There is now doubt how super psyched the whole band is about the songs we have been writing and what we are about to record for you guys. Our third album titled, ‘LOVE ARMY’ will be bigger, badder and better than anything we have released in the past. We have been songwriting across the globe; from beer soaked pub basements in South London to the romantic canals of Paris to rock n roll rehearsal rooms of ole Melbourne town and everywhere in between. This is what we feel, will be our greatest work to date as musicians and as a band.
As we prepare to head into the studio for album #3, we are calling out to the universe because we need your help and involvement as we set out on the next part of our journey.
We set up this sweet studio for our January songwriting sessions for 'LOVE ARMY' in Melbourne
We have a big goal of raising $20,000 in a small amount of time. As you probably know, achieving huge things need many people to make it happen. So with Pozible, you probably already know, it’s an ‘all or nothing deal’, and the only way we can do this is with your wonderful support for our grand vision.
We know there is lot of you who’ve been following the band from the start and have seen the band; overcome many obstacles, improve as musicians, grow as songwriters and performers, spend most of our lives on the road to pursue our dream, expand our wings to international soils and grow one really long beard. All of this was achieved through our belief in ourselves and your belief in us.
So…. Now it’s the time for us to show you again, as you believed in us then, to believe in us now xxx As the bird couldn’t fly without wings, the truth is we cannot get this off the ground without YOU!!

Q. What are you using the money for,

A. Making and promoting an album is a big project with lots of costs involved. The money will go towards studio costs, producer, mixing, mastering, artwork, and a video for the first single.
Q. I want you to play acoustically in my house but I live a long long way away.
A. If you live in an Australian capital city, we can perform a concert at your house while we’re there on tour. If you live further afield (The band will travel anywhere!) or want to have a concert at a time of your choosing, you’ll just need to pay for our accommodation and travel for the three band members from Melbourne, Australia. (Please [email protected] if you’d like to discuss further.)
Q. How much is shipping?
Shipping is included in the price displayed.
Q. When will my credit card be charged? When do I get the goodies?
If you pay by credit card, it will only be charged once we’ve reached our target. If you use Paypal it works a little differently. Your Pledge is taken, but if I do not reach my target, your Pledge is refunded.
After we reach our target (fingers crossed!), we’ll be getting everything sent out as soon as we can! Love Army is due out around June 2014, we will keep everyone up to date with the progress. ‘Dallas Frasca – NAKED’ is due out around April 2014 so we will email pledgers as soon as we have the final mixes in our hot little hands.
Q. I’m buying a 10yr entry to any DALLAS FRASCA headlining club or venue shows gig ticket. ** Note, this does not include festival entry or if Dallas Frasca is supporting another act. When and where are the shows?

Q. What’s on the live exclusive album ‘Dallas Frasca – NAKED’?
‘Dallas Frasca – NAKED’ will be recorded live on March 8th at the TOFF in TOWN in Melbourne (tickets on sale now at: http://tickets.thetoffintown.com/event/view/tfzv93pxgO). This one off show will be Sound Painter recorded live and acoustic. A chance for fans to get up close and personal to hear Sound Painter played in a completely fresh sonic light. With special guests, ‘Dallas Frasca – NAKED’ is a recording of the band celebrating the end of a successful cycle of their second album as move forward to this new chapter. It’s also yours as soon as you pledge any amount!
Q. I’ve pledged, but I can’t find my copy of ‘Dallas Frasca – NAKED’. Where is it? Are you holding out on me, FRASCA?

The Challenges
A huge challenge for this project would be
delivering all the pledges to everybody! We are truly stoked that Waterfront
has just joined a partnership with Pozible to help campaigning artists by
giving them some great options to help us fulfill our pledges (Did someone say
'digital and physical send outs on our behalf'? My dream just came true!). We
promise to do our best, and we’ll keep you in the loop with all updates.
There are also common risks and challenges that go along with recording, mixing & mastering, artwork deadlines, release dates and touring. Concerts can be delayed or canceled, and traveling in general can have unforeseen consequences, but we’ll be sure to let you know if and when things change.

Dallas Frasca’s Gibson – Painted by Archibald Prize finalist ‘Steve May’ – Dallas bought this guitar when she 18yrs old and has toured the world with the band and played well over 300 shows. It is definitely road worn but a part of the bands history.
