THE MONEY
THE ALPHA was selected as part of Screen Queensland's Raw Nerve Initiative for emerging filmmakers, which is a mouthful, but essentially means that we'll have the opportunity to work with industry professionals throughout the development process. The initiative has given us a starting fund to help us find our footing, but in order to do our story justice and to make the best film we can, we are going to need your help.
Making a film - even a short a one - costs money. There is a lot of hard work involved, with a majority of our team working on their own time or days off just to be a part of it. Every pledge is vital in helping us get this film off the ground - whether your $50 goes towards part of the day rate to hire a camera, or goes towards building props to create magical sets, every time you donate to the film it is helping us out immensely. We definitely would not be able to do it without you.
