Welcome to 60 of the best tricks to learn and teach on Aerial Silks! 

My name is Amy Hastie and I live in Margaret River.

I have set up a small business called Wild Star Dance in which I hold workshops in static trapeze, aerial silk and floor work/acro dance. I also invite other movement artists, local and passing through, to come and train in my studio. Another part of my business is making static trapezes and gators. Every now and then I hold workshops in other stuff I've learnt that people have expressed they would like me to share. This is my studio and that's me swinging from that handsome man!

Right now, through this project, I am sharing the basic pathway on which my students travel learning aerial silk. This project comes on the heels of "60 Tricks on Static Trapeze" Instructional Choreography Cards, that created a revolution in the way that I and many others teach static trapeze. I have managed to capture the 60 tricks that form the basis of my aerial silk curriculum in card set, I am so excited to get these babies into action after seeing the revolution my trapeze cards stimulated in my teaching method, and that of others that employed them. There is a clear picture of the trick on the front and step by step text and images to give instruction on how to execute it on the reverse. The set also comes with a booklet that covers some basic safety and aerial dance lingo plus a few other helpful bits...

I developed this lot with much help from my beautiful students; thankyou for letting me experiment with which tricks to include and which order they should be in, although I know it drove you all a bit batty having me chop and change to achieve this final set. You'll be pleased to know that now it will stay the same!!

Chocolate and coffee for those who help me get one card out of 60 different boxes to collate one set for each of my dear supporters $16.90 at least!! Taking us up to a nice rounded $14400, whew!

I have done this once before, for my trapeze cards, and Pozible has proven to be a bit of a roller coaster for me. The fear that you wont make target is quite anxiety inducing. My biggest challenge is spruking myself, I'm not too good at doing the hard sell and talking my work up, so I shall pray the cards can speak loudly for themselves to help me out a little. Getting all the text finished with minimal typos on time for the printer is also a huge challange. Plus feeling that I'm finished with the images and arrangement of each card, I could go on shuffling the text and images around for ever in an attempt to get the clearest pictures and descriptions of each trick. At least I've stopped shuffling the order of the 60 tricks, I think...
