After Party Short Film

About The Film:

After Party is a 2025 Swinburne graduate short film, created by Honours student filmmakers.

All funds go to supporting aspects of the production that are essential to filmmaking, as outlined below. This is an all or nothing campaign, so every contribution counts! 

This romantic dark comedy is driven by a team of passionate creatives who have been working hard over the past year to bring this relatable, camp, queer story to life. Through this project, we hope to make anyone who's ever had a crush on their best friend feel seen, to make people laugh, and to escape into our colourful, fantastical imagining of the afterlife!

Film Logline:

Before they can enjoy their afterlife festivities, the prideful Jade and her timid friend elle must realise their deadly sins while confronting their romantic feelings for one another in a campy version of Hell.
