sleepmakeswaves successfully crowdfunded two albums & a world tour
Sydney post-rock band sleepmakeswaves have released three full-length albums, toured the world, enjoyed ARIA & J Award nominations, and are one of the most successful music campaigners in Pozible's history.
The Campaigns
Launching their first campaign in January 2014, sleepmakeswaves aimed to raise $25,000 to fund the recording and release of their second album. They smashed their target- the campaign closed on February 25th with $30,061 pledged from 540 supporters.
Building on this success, the band launched their next campaign to help fund not only their third album, but part of their world tour. It closed on January 20th, 2017 having raised $45,343 from 720 supporters.
Across the two campaigns, sleepmakeswaves utilised their reward options as preorders and merchandise sales, which proved highly effective.
Made Of Breath Only
sleepmakeswaves released their third album 'Made Of Breath Only' in March 2017 and followed it up with a world tour, including a sold out Australian leg.
