Madelaine's Organic Eggs: Crowdfunding To Bring Dreams To Life
Who is Madelaine and why are her chickens so special?

Story
With a savvy loan from her parents, Madelaine bought her first chickens when she was just eight years old. Her dream started with 20 chickens and 15 years on, she now has her hands full with over 3,000.

Ethical
Supplying truly organic and ethical produce is the driving force behind 'Madelaine's Eggs.' From 24 hours old, the chicks are hand reared to ensure they are given a peaceful, 100% organic life.
The Campaign
Launching in March, Madelaine's campaign sought to raise $60,000 to purchase an egg cleaning and grading machine. This machine would help to raise awareness of ethical farming methods and expand the organic farming community of Victoria.
When the campaign closed two months later in May, a total of $67,986 had been raised.
Post Pozible
With an annual turnover of over $500,000, Madelaine's Eggs can be found in over 50 Melbourne health food stores - that's if they haven't sold out! She has also been featured in publications such as The Australian, The Weekly Times and ABC Online.
"“It was the success of the crowd-funding and the impact of the cleaning and grading machine on my business that showed me that what I have built is a really serious proper business, not just some sort of hobby."
