My name is Yasin Leflef, I'm full time busker and independent artist from Melbourne, Victoria. I've got a huge list of goals, dreams, ideas and unreleased music that has been brewing over the past 2 years. Creating and finally releasing my long awaited EP has got to be one of my biggest aspirations at this point of my career!

Ironically, when I finished school I got a job in a retail outlet on Bourke St and pretty much hated life at that point as I didn't enjoy the job one bit. Some of my friends were busking outside of the store, literally (outside) the store, while doing what they loved almost everyday and were able to support themselves financially at the same time! What a dream, right? It wasn’t long till I got my permit, quit that job and started busking on Bourke St full-time which has completely changed my life and has defintely been one of the best decisions I've made in my career as an artist so far.

As a busker on Bourke St for almost a year now, the journey has been incredible and very inspiring, and of course at times very challenging! I’m really grateful for all the people I’ve been able to play my music to in such an intimate and honest setting, and for all of you who’ve made it to a show after seeing me play my music on the streets! Your support has been incredible and I absolutely cannot thank you all enough for joining me on this journey so far however, it has only just begun...

                                DEBUT EP

I’ve been creating music and performing under my name for about 4 years now but the only bits of music I’ve ever put out there have been small demos, recorded at home on my Iphone! After a long wait and a lot of artisctic and musical development, It's time to create my first ever EP. 

Recording and releasing music has never been easy for an indie artist because it does cost a lot of money if you want it to be of high quality, so I am asking for your help!

This will be a massive milestone for me and I want to give you guys the chance to be a part of my debut EP by asking for your support, before I head in to the studio early next year. I'd like to make my first release as best as I can, and I'ts definitely going to be a challenge to pay for it all, so the faster I can get this all happening, the faster I can finally share my brand new music with you all! My goal is to raise $3000 which will only cover 30% of the overall costs involved, but will be such a HUGE help in making this all happen!

As you can see above, the project does cost more than I'm asking for so any of your help will make a HUGE difference. This is definitely such a huge challenge but I am sure we can do it!

1. Finding the funds to complete the rest of the project

(I've been working really hard and saving those coins, but the large recording costs will definitely be a challenge)

2.  Reaching my target of $3,000 in time!

Biggest Challenge:

Creating an EP that truly identifies who I am as an artist, which represents myself in the most honest, unique and authentic way as possible.
