Trouble Peach are new band featuring former/current members of The Toot Toot Toots, Saint Jude and Dr. Doctor. We have reimagined and recorded Neutral Milk Hotel's iconic 1998 album 'In the Aeroplane Over the Sea' in its entirety and sung in Spanish. This will be released digitally in mid-2018. If we reach 70 presales we will be able to press a small (100 only) run of vinyl records. This will be difficult to achieve for a band as new as we are, but we're putting it out there. In the unlikely event that we sell 80 or more presales we will complete a coloured vinyl run to make it even more special.

This came about when I (Dan Hawkins) was enjoying Seu George's Portugese David Bowie covers. I've been an obsessive Neutral Milk Hotel fan for over a decade, and like most NMH fans I resigned myself to the fact that another NMH release is unlikely. I thought about how I'd really like to hear NMH songs in a different language, then I thought about how I had been meaning to take Spanish lessons for years, only I never took the plunge. This has been a project that I've invested a lot of time and love into over the past two years. The record is sounding great and it'll be a real special record for your collection if we can get there. Pledge and share!

I completed a vinyl presale several years ago for a band much, much more popular than this one and know that achieving 70 presales is far more difficult than it sounds. Ultimately this is a small passion project and if the interest in a vinyl release isn't there it ain't gonna happen.
