My name is Tiffany Eckhardt and I am a singer- songwriter.  I started writing songs when I was a kid, but didn't have much confidence in performing until my mid- late twenties when I teamed up with some other musicians including my now husband, songwriter and guitarist, Dave Steel. In the late 90 s I recorded my first album  and since then have recorded another 8. Dave and I have enjoyed playing at Music festivals and venues around Australia, while raising our two kids, and basing ourselves in rural South West Victoria. My songs are greatly influenced by my love of the natural environment, my family and also my furry and feathered animal friends (of which we have many!) . 

          Three and a half years ago, we moved to Southern Tasmania and now live in the Huon Valley on a small farm. It is a very beautiful part of the world and I can now say I feel very blessed to live here, though for the first couple of years, I was very homesick. The songs on this album have been written over the past 12 months and are about this journey of change, some sadness, but a lot of joy too, a reflection and celebration of finding ourselves and our feet in this new land. Events in the wider world have also crept into this album...

          We have almost finished recording which we have done in our home studio with Dave at the helm acting as engineer, co-producer and musician. He's playing guitars and mandolin and backing vocals. We have found a wonderful bunch of musicians here in Tasmania and are lucky enouph to have recruited a couple for this project. Ross Smithard is a wonderful fiddle, mando and banjo player and Anne Toner who is also a great songwriter, is playing piano, and singing backing vocals. It was been a while between Cds,  I can't wait to get this one out there, hit the road, and  share these songs with the everyone! 

            I have never done a crowdfunding campaign before and it is quite nerve wracking... but exciting too It's nice to be able to involve our supporters in this process . Living in Tasmania makes coming over to the mainland to perform more expensive and generally . We are hoping to do cd launches including the Pozible reward house concerts in Victoria in July, so we are hoping this will fit in with those who maybe interested in these.
