I've always loved Sci-Fi especially 70's Sci-Fi Space 1999, Battlestar Galatica, even Buck Rogers. I grew up watching Doctor who on the ABC and Astro boy and always wanted to see Aussies in space. When covid hit I thought it was time to get started.
I have had on set experience working in London for the BBC, ITV & Disney. I was a runner on The Last Detective, Empathy and several UK promos. That was a great learning curve and my love for all things film bought me here.
The series, Station 77 is set on a distant fusion mining facility where two exiled brothers Kango and Jack Jackson accidently make first contact.
The show will be streaming on YouTube, 10 x 5 minutes episodes with a BBC retro feel.
I've secured a D.O.P and who I have been working with in my shed getting the VFX shots done. I also have a costume designer to get that retro feel and a props guy to make the mask and other pieces. The cast is secured and ready to go. I need your support to build the sets and pay the cast and crew and get this done.
