ABOUT THE FILM
Shark Bait is a nostalgic, coming of age drama that combines light-hearted moments of adolescence with a stark and confronting undertone of tension layered throughout the film. Set in a rural Australian community, the film promises beautiful visuals, familiar sounds and saccharine storytelling.
The film explores the dangers of casual sexism and the manner in which locker room banter can perpetuate into real-world conflicts.
"Young teen Ivy falls prey to the high school football team when her party takes a turn for the worst."
