Jordan for Monbulk
I am running in the upcoming state election in Victoria in the district of Monbulk!
I will be running as an independent under the name Jordan Crook, People for the Bush!
The reason I am running is because of the need to protect whats left of the natural world here in Victoria. From feral deer trashing our parks and gardens, weeds taking over our precious bushland and farmland, to the industrial logging of the habitat of our state emblem; The Leadbeater's Possum. The natural world is taking a beating, yet none of the political parties are taking action on these issues that are raised on a regular basis by the public.
The Andrews Labor government has a very anti-nature sentiment in their actions. Be it widening roads and smashing ancient roadside trees, or supporting the logging of Greater Glider habitat to see how many they kill in an operation. (Akin to scientific whaling on land) They show ignorance to the concerns of the natural world and continue to ignore the fact that we are a part of the natural world not apart from it.
Every cent will be used wisely and will help us raise awareness for the need to look after our wildlife and wild places.
Thank you
Jordan Crook
