So, the last time I crowdfunded was 3 years ago, and OH MY GOD, what a huge 3 years it’s been! I’m so grateful to be on this journey that you’ve helped me on; the EP and I did some pretty big things. Leave Your Light On (the first single from the EP) got high rotation on Triple J Unearthed, went to number 3 on the iTunes pop chart, received high rotation on Nova Coles radio, and ended up with top reviews from The AU Review, Triple J, The Music, and more. The EP was featured on channel 10’s Toasted TV and was played on Foxtel’s Country Music Channel. All of this was happening at the same time I was touring with Kasey Chambers, Jon English, Shane Nicholson, Sara Storer and working as a musician on The Voice and other recording projects.
I’m SO excited to get back into the studio to create my first ever FULL-LENGTH ALBUM! I’ve written the songs, crafted the music, now I just need to raise the funds to make the recording a reality. I need to raise two-thirds of the costs ($13,000) required to record the album, which I’ve broken down for you below. Being an independent artist can be hard, all the funding has to be sought independently without any assistance from a record company, but having said that, I get to keep ALL the rights to my songs and will only have my fans to answer to.
Jon English was a really close friend; he taught me the value of working HARD for your fans, working HARD for your music, and making sure you put on a good show EVERY, single, time. Even though his passing took a pretty hard toll on me, his lessons are something I’ll never forget, and partly, I have to make this album for him, because he always wanted me to record an album; he wants me to release my passion to the world.
This album will be slightly different to the EP; it’ll truly be ME. You can expect to hear my indie vocals with my love of 70s vintage bass and drum sounds, mixed in with some grungy, rootsy fiddle, and of course, we’ll throw a bit of mando and banjo in there to. I’m coming home in this album; accepting that I have a country twang, but that I also don’t fit any certain box (I like it that way).
You’re going to hear an album that I don’t think you’ve heard before in Australia.
I’ve created the Pozible packages with some extra fun things compared with my last campaign. There’s t-shirts, stickers, writing workshops, concerts, and even packages to record YOUR songs.
So now, I’ve got my tour van, I’ve got the songs, I’ve got the instruments, I’ve got a plan, I just need YOUR HELP!
Now it’s time to make the debut album! Let’s DO THIS together.
There are SO many packages to choose from to help make this album a reality. I can’t wait to get them all out to you.
I truly LOVED crowdfunding when I made my EP. Each package is so important and meaningful to me. I have told so many radio hosts, newspapers and friends about the joy crowdfunding brought into my life because I got to make so many new friends out of the experience.
SOME of these packages may be able to be mixed and matched a little. Talk to me about it! Give me your ideas and we can see what’s Pozible… HAH… Get it… Ok I’ll go now.
The Cost Breakdown:
Recording at Love HZ studios:
Studio and producer fee: $12,000
Musicians to play on the album: $3000
Mixing and Mastering: $2000
Other album production costs (e.g. CD manufacturing, artwork, etc.): $2000
I’m hoping to raise $13,000 (approximately two-thirds)
Nothing. We have GOT THIS. <3

Entry is granted once a $25 package or donation (or over) has been selected.
There will be an early listening party of the songs BEFORE the album is released (snippits), and personal updates from me (Emma) throughout the recording process. I'll also be going live where you can ask me ALL the questions in there.
I'll be sharing lots of photos of the loves of my lives too - my violin, guitars and pug dog - Peanut Maria. ;)
