Hello all!
Thanks for stopping by the campaign page - my name's Demi Mitchell and I'm a singer-songwriter based in the glorious city of Newcastle here asking for your support in releasing my new record 'The Overflow'.
Mid-last year I went down to Melbourne to record with Roger Bergodaz at Union St Studios, we live-tracked 11 songs that I'd written over the past few years and created something that I'm really proud of and can't wait to share with everyone.
As an independent musician the costs of making a record can be real daunting, I've personally covered the costs of recording, mixing and studio musicians myself and am here to ask for your help in getting the album mastered, printed, pressed, promoted and out into the world.
It's always been a dream to have an album on vinyl so I'm really excited to get a limited run pressed, they'll be exclusive to the campaign until they run out so if you're keen to have the album on vinyl then get it here!
There's also a bunch of other incentives such as CDs, t-shirts with a design by local artist Laura Bonzo, a handwritten lyrics book, a personal New Orleans Voodoo tarot card reading or you can book either myself or the band to come play at your house.
I'm super lucky to have worked with really amazing and supportive people on this record, from the production to album artwork and a band of legends.

The album is intended to be released mid-2018.
Potential Challenges
Meeting the campaign target in time for pressing deadlines for an album release in May/June will be the main challenge.
