SOFI Spritz is Australia’s take on the classic Mediterranean Aperitivo.  Crafted with only natural ingredients including premium quality wine, locally sourced juices and herbal extracts, SOFI contains no added sugar.  

Classic European cocktails but with a modern Australian twist.

THE STORY SO FAR

Its been just a little over 4 years since we bottled the first batch of SOFI Spritz and launched at the Bondi Farmers Market….

 and its been a wild ride since then:

+ We developed 3 Italian-inspired recipes (with help from a second Pozible campaign!)

   - Blood Orange & Bitters inspired by the Veneto Spritz

   - Lemon & Elderflower inspired by the Hugo Spritz

   - White Peach & Ginger inspired by the Bellini

+ Won ranging with Australia’s largest retailers (Dan Murphy’s, BWS, Vintage Cellars, Liquorland & First Choice coming soon)

+ Started working with the major airlines (QANTAS & Virgin Australia)

+ Received our first purchase orders for export (Canada and Vanuatu)

+ Won a Best Innovation award at the 2017 Australian Drinks Awards

+ Managed to sneak in an appearance on Channel 10’s Shark Tank!

SOFI'S COCKTAIL TASTE TEST TOUR DE FRANCE

SOFI is super excited to be back on Pozible – BUT this time we are not here to raise funds – in fact, all the proceeds will go back to our supporters in the form of Cocktails, prizes & parties….

+ All we ask is that you grab a pack and run your own “Cocktail Taste-Testing-Tour de France” :

+ We will be offering our best rates on mixed cases of the limited edition French series and everyone who completes the feedback survey post-taste-testing, will go in the draw to win part of a prize pool including a trip to France! 

+ For our early bird supporters, we will be throwing in a bunch of free gifts: t-shirts, picnic bags, unbreakable glasses & carafes 

+ After all that is sorted, the remaining proceeds will go towards parties for our supporters all around the country (we will try to arrange at least one in every town or city with 10 or more supporters) - think Italy vs France cook-offs with the full SOFI Spritz range pouring freely….

So now to the fun part – the cocktails you will be tasting!!   In keeping with our tradition of taking a classic European cocktail and giving it an all-natural Aussie twist, we have developed three recipes inspired by France’s Kir cocktails … but as always, we are giving them a modern twist.

Limited edition - French Series 1 - Wild Berries and Pomegranate

The first recipe was inspired by the original Kir or Kir Royale.  The Kir Royale is a French cocktail which consists of crème de cassis topped with champagne (rather than white wine in a traditional Kir). Crème de cassis is a sweet, dark red liqueur made from blackcurrants.  For our take on this French classic we added an assortment of other wild berries to the blackberries and in an attempt to balance the natural sweetness of the berries, we added a healthy dose of pomegranate.

Limited edition - French Series 2 - Pink Grapefruit & Lavender

Another popular French liqueur added to Kir cocktails is Crème de Pamplemousse rose (Pink Grapefruit).  To balance the tart nature of the pink grapefruit we went a little wild and decided to add some essence of Lavender which provides for a sensational fragrance and subtle sweetness which we believe counters the grapefruit beautifully.

Limited edition - French Series 3 - Wild Strawberry & Finger Lime

Instead of the classic blackberries in the Kir Royale, we decided to experiment with wild strawberries.  Lime is a popular choice to balance out the strawberry but we wanted to give this cocktail a local twist so used the distinctly Australian finger lime. Deliciously refreshing and very moreish !

So there you have it – your very own Cocktail Taste Test Tour de France …. 

After you have had time to try the new Limited Edition SOFI Spritz French Series, you will receive a survey asking you to rank the recipes, provide feedback on the flavour profiles, the packaging format etc... We will make it as short and sharp as possible and all of those supporters that complete the survey will go in the draw to win!*

The bulk of proceeds from this campaign will go into producing the cocktails - ingredients, packaging & bottling.  Plus the cost of all the other goodies that will be sent out to our supporters.  

10% of proceeds will go to a prize pool - All supporters who receive the French range will be invited to complete a survey to provide feedback.  Those that complete the survey will be eligible to enter the competition for the prize pool.  The main prize will be funds for a trip to Paris for a Tour de France for reals!*

We have also allocated some budget to marketing this campaign with social media advertising to increase the proceeds.

100% of the balance of proceeds will go towards parties all over the country.  We plan to choose our favourite venues in any town or city where we had more than 10 supporters and we will allocate the funds pro-rata to go towards showing our supporters a good time SOFI style... we are thinking a France vs Italy culinary cook-off with SOFI Spritz Cocktails on Tap!

We aim to start sending your packs on the first day of Spring but ask that you please be patient if your shipping takes longer than expected.
