The founder of Liminal and the artistic director of Pencilled In have come together to bring you Comic Sans, a serialised collection of the best Australian comics artists working today.

Brought together by their love of comics and hatred of mediocrity, Leah and Rachel formed Comic Sans to give a platform for the artists they think are the most exciting, most unique, most interesting voices of 2018; artists who push their craft, who see their writing as a literary art form, who create beautiful yet thought-provoking work. 

We want to be continually discovering new artists, and plan to have Comic Sans as an open-ended project. So instead of a single collection, we’re putting together a home-made subscription service, a series of zines to fulfill your comics requirements throughout the year. 

Comic Sans will come out quarterly, with a year-long subscription at $60 for four issues.
A single issue can be purchased for $15.

Funds made from this campaign will be split two ways. As editors we're just keen to support and promote these incredible artists, so 50% of our profits will roll over to fund the next issue, and the other 50% will be split evenly to further pay each featured artist, additional to the intial artist payment. 

The main cost for Comic Sans is printing, which we anticipate will be $1500 for each issue. 

If we don't make enough to cover the printing of Comic Sans, we'll seek further funding from arts organisations, with the potential to fund the project privately. We are running this Pozible campaign because it will allow us a swifter publication process.
