Ahoy folks! 

The time is here! 

After 5 years on the open road, some of the stories I've collected are about to make their way from my heart and into your hands/ears... I'm finally releasing my Debut Album!

When I was 21, I packed up my life into the confines of 'Darcy' - my '98 Toyota Hiace and home-on-wheels.  We've traversed country far more beautiful and powerful than I could ever have imagined. This has gone hand in hand with meeting humans who have blown my heart and mind wide open. Since then, I've independently released my debut EP and a handful of recordings from my time in Europe last year (listen here). 

5 years later, and I feel like I am experiencing multiple lives on a daily basis. I came home to Australia last September after qualifying as a Yoga Therapist over in Europe, as well as touring throughout The Netherlands. My being was on the verge of exploding - too many experiences, and not enough time to stop, breathe and catch up to all the beauty. That's when some dear friends of mine from The Northern Folk offered to share some of the load and enable me to FINALLY get these songs and experiences down on to a record for the wide world to hear and feel.  

The process was a raw, real and spontaneous blur. To be honest, it's a great metaphor for the last 10 years of my life and I wouldn't have had it any other way! The making of this album has not been like anything I expected. Given limitations on time and resources, we recorded in multiple locations across north-east Victoria, which I feel somewhat pays homage to my life on the road thus far . Your ears will be filled with music sung fireside at a farmhouse; in a country-town living room; and within the magical walls of St. Matthews Church.

All that's left to do is get the album pressed, printed and into YOUR supportive hands! Asking for help is not something I do often... I find it uncomfortable and really overwhelmingly difficult, yet here I am. If you can help make this happen, please check out the 'rewards' I'm offering and pledge! Let's start with the incredible news - THE ALBUM IS DONE! Ready to be heard. 

In other news, we need to raise $1500 by Friday, OCTOBER 20th in order for this album to follow me in a physical CD form on this tour! This cannot be done without YOU here on Pozible... this deadline means that unless we reach the target, I get NOTHING to fund the printing of this album. 

The $1500 for this album will be used specifically for:

- PRINTING AND PRESSING

- any magical extra $$$ will go towards funding transport / general tour costs

I've woken up in the van some days with 20 cents in my pocket, with a gig to play a 12 hours drive away. Challenges come and go in this life, but your support of my journey so far has been a constant reminder of why I do what I do. The music we have been able to share together is far greater than you and I. I am SO full of gratitude for this chance to be part of such a unique and challenging story.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share these tales with you. Your support, in all its forms, is such a blessing- especially when worlds collide through music from all edges of the globe. 

I have had the most incredible support in piecing this album together. From friends jamming in a living room, the idea that we could actually record my album flourished into an organic and raw real-life thing... I feel like the hardest part is over with, but there's still a long way to go yet! 

In amongst the craziness of of trying to get this album recorded, I have also been in the midst of booking a 3-month national tour. Due to the nature of the workload, it has meant that time has very quickly slipped away, leaving less time to raise as many funds as possible to make this all happen. As a result, the album tour will be completely self-funded.

January of this tour sees my best friend and I heading to TASMANIA because we have been accepted to play the CYGNET FOLK FESTIVAL!!! (yay!) So, anything magically extra that is raised from this campaign will go directly into funding transport and general tour costs. 

What a journey. Every time I remind myself to surrender to those things I can't control, I am quietly surprised at what happens when I open my eyes. It's all about intention. My intention here, is to share these stories with you, both along the open road and with a physical copy in your hands. I promise, it will happen. I can't wait to see you around the bend.
