That’s why every Australian emergency service organisation recommends having a household emergency kit to help get through those first critical days.
Until now, there hasn’t been a commercially available kit that fully meets those recommendations.
Over the past nine months, Resilient Australians has been working to change that — designing practical, affordable emergency kits tailored to Australian conditions and aligned with national emergency service advice.
We’ve created a two-part system to suit different household needs:
Part 1 – Resilience Kit: Designed to support people who may be isolated at home without access to electricity, water, gas, or shops.
Part 2 – Evacuation Kit: An add-on kit for households at risk of needing to evacuate, containing essential items, guidance, and gear for leaving home safely.
This modular approach allows people to budget and prepare based on the specific risks they face — whether it’s staying safe at home during a power outage or evacuating due to bushfires or floods.
Our kits make it easy to have the right gear, ready to go, and they include many items most households don’t already have, but will absolutely need during a large-scale emergency. They are also on average 30% cheaper than building your own comparable kit.

Budget Overview
The budget for our crowdfunded launch of $43,800 will allow us to produce at a minimum the first 200 kits in one large order, meaning we can manufacture, assemble and distribute the initial kits in at a commercially viable price for our first customers. To thank our supporters for being among the first customers, we will be offering our kits at a 25% discount to the ongoing retail price as a big thank-you for their support!
After the Pozible cowdfunded launch, our emergency kits will be available on an ongoing basis from August in our online store.
