Help us raise funds for the Victorian Bushfire appeal and Wildlife Victoria

We're donating 1,000 x The Melbourne Map and 1,000 x Illustrated Wildlife prints

We are incredibly saddened by the impact and devastation to our land, loss of human and wildlife, destruction of homes and businesses.

Simply put, we feel we can assist by raising much-needed funds to go towards recovery efforts.  Money needed on the ground to assist people and wildlife impacted by the fires.  

The Melbourne Map will donate a special print run of 1,000 x A2 size Melbourne Maps and Lewis Brownlie has donated his Australian Wildlife illustrations.   We will print and compile 1,002 of these prints into 167 sets of 6 Animal illustrations (print size 203 x 152mm)

Whilst our target for this campaign is set for $10,000 we hope to raise much more with the sale of 

• The Melbourne Map A2 size prints unframed and framed 
• Sets of 6 Lewis Brownlie Wildlife prints.

THE MELBOURNE MAP - SPECIAL EDITION A2 SIZE

We are incredibly proud of our Melbourne Map - recently published after more than 3 years of research and illustration. If you would like to learn more about this project - head to our website www.themelbournemap.com.au and read more of the history here.

This A2 offset print is a new edition and when we release this print on our website in the future, the retail price will be $85.   During this campaign, the print will be available for $75.  

Not only is this your chance to secure a copy of this iconic map, but you will also receive a discount.  

Offset print on sovereign silk 200gsm paper sourced from plantation forests.  Measures 420 x 594mm unframed.

Our framing partners FRAMES NOW can supply framing and will donate a significant amount of the framing price to this campaign.  

We encourage you to collect your framed or unframed prints from one of their 7 stores around Melbourne or our studio in Geelong.

Alternatively, we can arrange delivery via Australia Post.

LEWIS BROWNLIE WILDLIFE ART PRINTS - SET OF 6

Lewis Brownlie (chief illustrator of The Melbourne Map) has a deep love of Australian wildlife and spends much of his time visiting the Australian bush.   His beautiful illustrations capture six of Australia's unique animals, so many of which have been killed and injured in the fires.  

This special Wildlife set of 6 is sponsored by our favourite printers Creffield Digital Printers.   

Each print measures 203 x 152mm

Our wonderful framing partners, Frames Now are generously donating their framing services to this campaign.  They will also co-ordinate collection points for all of the prints and frames at their 7 stores around Melbourne.

Here is how this campaign is being put together

The Melbourne Map - donating a special offset print run of 1,000 x A2 copies of The Melbourne Map  (420 x 594mm) plus the packaging materials and will commit their energy, time and resources to co-ordinate and promote the campaign, communicate with supporters, plus packing and distribution of all the prints.  

Lewis Brownlie - donating his Australian Wildlife artwork to be printed as 167 sets (1,002 prints) of 6 wildlife prints (203 x 152mm).

Pozible - Will waive 100% of their fees and commit their energy, time and resources to promote and host this campaign.

Frames Now - will provide framing of The Melbourne Map and donate the majority of the framing price to the campaign.  They will also co-ordinate the distribution to the collection points at their 7 locations around Melbourne, or package and post to those who are unable to collect.

Creffield Digital Printers - (Our Melbourne Map Limited Edition printers) -  are sponsoring the print production of Wildlife sets.

Acetate Base - donated their time to film, edit and produce this Crowdfunding video.  

Friends & family - will assist with packaging and distribution.

TIMING

We estimate that we will be able to fulfill orders by the END OF FEBRUARY or EARLY MARCH.

Once the campaign ends we will co-ordinate printing, framing and packaging then distribute your prints to your chosen collection points or send by Australia post if required.  We really encourage you to collect your items if possible.     

You can collect your prints and framed prints from any Frames Now Store in Melbourne - select the store location when you choose your reward.  There will also be a pickup point from Geelong.

Once the prints arrive at the location you will be contacted to advise that they are ready for collection.

If you are unable to collect your prints from a Frames Now Store, or our studio in Geelong, we will send the prints via Australia Post - extra charges apply.

100% of the sale price of the print component of The Melbourne Map and Wildlife prints will be donated, however, we will have to deduct the 10% GST to send to the ATO plus the credit card charges that the bank charges us.   

Any other cash donations will be forwarded in full

A large percentage of the framing charge will be donated.

I'll keep you informed on the progress and the final tally of funds sent to the organisations, with copies of their receipts.
