Print Cult is a collective of emerging contemporary artists who specialise in printmaking mediums. Since 2010 the Adelaide based collective has held regular exhibitions exploring the potential of traditional and non-traditional printmaking.

On September 27th, Print Cult will travel interstate to exhibit new work at Melbourne's Top Shelf Gallery. There they will launch their first publication Print Cult • The Book, a profile of the seven artists and a substantial documentation of the collective's artwork, practise and processes.

The 40-page catalogue of images will be accompanied by essays from artist peers and industry figures, as well as insightful information on printmaking processes, work-in-progress sketches, and a look behind the scenes into the group's studio space; Tooth & Nail.

Designed by Adelaide independent publisher Stolen Projects, the book will be designed and produced with the same attention to detail as the artists give their own work. Each book will feature full colour images on beautiful Strathmore 118gsm Soft White Fine Paper and an individually screenprinted copper ink cover.

After the official launch the book will be sold online and through retail outlets, including Adelaide's Tooth and Nail art store, and Melbourne's Hungry Workshop. Later, copies will be donated to library collections across Australia.

By donating to this project, you will be supporting emerging artists to help legitimise and showcase their work in a professional context, enabling them to find further success and reach wider audiences.

All donations of $35, equal to the book's RRP, will automatically receive a pre-ordered copy of the book, signed and numbered by all 7 artists, inc. free postage within Australia.
So please share this with your friends, family, and anyone with an interest in supporting the arts!

About the Artists

Print Cult consists of Josh Searson, Jake Holmes, Kerri Ann Wright, Jayson Fox, Jake Bresanello, Tomasso Pascale, and Ankles.

Independent of the collective, the seven artists have also found success in their own right. Each are graduates from either Adelaide College of the Arts or UniSA School of Art, Architecture and Design. Since their study they have been acknowledged through scholarships, grants and industry recognition, as well as proving their own commitment through artist-run initiatives such as Tooth and Nail studio/gallery.

After hours liaising with printers, paper representatives, arts funding organisations and our publisher, we are now calling on you to help support this project.

Our biggest task now is a race against time. Can you help us raise the funds before the launch?
