Hello! My name is Ingrid, I’m an illustrator based in Australia and I’m launching pre-orders for my 2025 illustrated wall calendar - this year the theme is all about water. We'll be visually exploring some of the fantastic Australian flora, fauna and fungi that you can find in and around bodies of water, from bogs to waterfalls.

About the Project:

My hope is that the paintings in this calendar can act as a way to spark interest and learn more about (and appreciate!) some of the incredible flora, fauna and fungi we have on this planet, and why it’s important to preserve its biodiversity.

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you may have already seen some of the process behind creating these paintings. I’ll also be uploading these to an information page on my website accessible by scanning the QR code on the back of your calendar.

$1 of each sale of this calendar will be donated to environmental organisations chosen by you, the supporters of this project! Once fully funded, I'll be taking your votes for where the donations will go.

The details:

• Quality printed on lush 300gsm recycled paper in Australia
• 2 x A4 pages sitting portrait, silver wire spiral bound with hanging holes
• Note lines to add any thoughts or 'to dos' you may have for the month
• All major Australian public holidays listed within the wall calendar 
• Week starts on 'Monday'
• Your orders will packaged with the environment in mind

When your calendar reaches the end of its life, you're welcome to upcycle the artworks!

How to order?

I'm launching pre-orders on Pozible which is a crowdfunding platform, so it's a little different to a usual online shop. It helps me to fund the intial cost of printing as well as create a little community for this project! Pozible calls orders 'pledges' and products are 'rewards'. Use the rewards on the right to choose what package you would like to receive.

I know that crowdfunding isn't familiar to everyone, so if you're having any issues navigating the platform, reach out!

UPDATED TIMELINE:

• Mid September: The calendars will be sent off to printing!
• End of September - Early October: I'll be posting out your orders

Budget Overview

Goal 1: $1,500

The main upfront cost associated with this project is printing. Your pre-orders will help aid in that upfront cost, whilst also spreading the word! I've set the first goal at $1,500 as I think we can achieve this together!

Once this goal has been reached, I'll open voting for which environmental organisation we donate to ($1 of each sale of this calendar will be donated).

Goal 2: $4,000

If we reach $4,000 then, wow thank you! 

I will add a few more rewards including:

• Original artworks from the calendar
• Private workshop sessions

Goal 3: $6,000

Hitting this goal would start to help cover the research time involved in putting together the artworks.

I'll ask for your suggestions for what extra rewards to add to the page - art lessons? botanic garden sketching sessions? You name it!
