Welcome to my appeal. I am making a record and I neeeeeeeeeed you!
In 2010 I recorded my debut album in Broome W.A. "Fisherman's Bend" It was produced by West Australian musician Dave Mann. Dave has a back catalogue  of achievements and albums that are inspiring! Currently he is the mainstay guitarist and collaborator  in "We two thieves", as well as working with his own outfit and producing records. My album was a fantastic journey and we made some great music. The record was launched at the 2011 Nannup music festival and was really well received, in fact we are now into the second run of discs... The ball has rolled on ever since with gigs a plenty all over the place. From festival shows in the southern forrest to gigs on the back of flatbed trucks at environmental blockades and on a floating stage to 5000 people on cable beach. The journey in all its machinations has been incredible and rewarding. 
Since Fisherman's bend I have been writing new material with a view for that day ( or month..) to come around and finally  it has. Album no 2!!!  
The album is called "Provenance" which means " To come from..."
3 years in the writing, this album is recorded entirely in Margaret river W.A . It is also different from the last as it features  a cover in the list of tracks. The Saints ; "Grain of sand." Chris bailey is one of my biggest influences. He has to stand out as one of Australias finest song writers. The song is an ode to that influence. The album also features a musical adaption of  Ted Egan's poem about the treacherous and romantic pearl diving era of Broome's past - "Sayanara Nakamurra."  The studio of choice  for the sessions in Margaret river a sea container! , or as we like to call it- "Studio 2"

The album is 12 tracks in total. We are 3/4 way through! Once again Dave Mann is behind the wheel. Dave is a genius and finding what the artist has thats special and making that stand out. He pulls it out of you! This record features a mixture of themes.  Love and redemption, Piracy, rebellion, whimzical roots and soulfull folk rock. It features a host of guests including; Bec Schofield on harmony, Roy Martinez on Bass guitar. Phoebe Corke on fiddle, Guy Ghouse on guitar, Myself on electric, slide and acoustic guitars. Dave Mann on mandolin and guitar, Tim Malone on Saxaphone, Lee cummings on Percussion, Tanya Ransom on percussion and harmony and Al Mann from the legendary Australian folk band " Loaded dog" On Banjo.! 
So Far the record is a cracker! Set to be mixed and mastered by the maestro of the faders- James Newhouse.

so, why  am I telling you all this? As you can imagine this all takes money. This is where you come in... With this Pozible campaign I am hoping to raise the funds to finish the album and release it. With a host of rewards available, I  am able to offer some great deals for you, which will help me make this album a physical thing!
Deadlines, we have set a goal, AGHHHH!!  Once again Iv'e been invited to perform at Nannup music festival in Western Australia's South west at the end of February 2015. The album has to be out by then to launch at that festival, just like the last! The set up cost of getting this baby afloat looks like being quite high and as time is of the essence I am putting together a pozible campaign in the hope of sourcing some of these (but not all...) funds. $2500 is the figure Im aiming for. If we reach or exceed that figure in the time frame allocated, then the money you pledge rolls in and we make this baby fly! If we havent reached that goal figure by the allocated date, then the campaign hasn't worked and no money comes in.....

Funds raised in time is the obstacle most likely to be of most concern. The album is half finished. It will be finished by the end of the first week in January. If funds for production are gathered by the deadline set, everything should roll according to plan.
