Introducing 'Semi-Precious: 29 Australian graduates that will change the future of the creative industry' - a new desktop publication showcasing some of the best new work from Australia's creative graduates, and exploring the potential impact they could have in their creative fields.

We have pulled together our contacts and resources to collate this brand new publication that features some of the most exciting work from around the country. Within it, we explore what makes these graduates different and pose the question: how will the talent and energy of these graduates change the industry?

It is through their outstanding work — all of which represents a new way of thinking and making — that we explore the future of graphic and digital design, illustration and photography.

The book is set to be launched to an audience of over 500 acclaimed professionals, sponsors, industry figures and fellow graduates at our annual Create Design Awards Night, on the  30th October 2014.

In order to produce the best book we could, we have set up this crowdfunding campaign to cover the significant publishing costs. This way, we don’t print more books than we need, and they won’t be sitting in storage waiting to be sold.

Your donated funds will be used to carry this publication across the line, covering the costs of resources and hours from concept to completion and everything in between.

If we are able to reach our goal - and even surpass it - then Semi-Precious has the opportunity to become a yearly publication, cementing its potential as an invaluable reference and resource for graduates, their peers, professional studios, prospective design students, and you!
