Scale Race Engineering is a Brisbane (Australia) based business that emerged as a result of a passion for Radio Controlled racing.

We specialise in the importation and distribution of products for 1-5th scale Radio Controlled on-road touring cars.

In the interest of keeping the 1/5th scale RC community up to date with modern racing categories and the cars in them, we are hoping to be able to develop this new body shell for the GLOBAL market.

Whilst we are located in Australia, we have distribution contacts around the world and can arrange shipment of these shells to most countries.

The target amount set for this project will cover the production of a high quality vacuum forming Tool, and polycarbonate body shells (510mm wheelbase, 395mm width).
Once this project's target is met, the shell will enter full commercial production.

Contributors to this project are able to purchase a body shell at a discounted 'introductory' price.

NOTE: 'Pre-orders' (pledges) are not debited unless this campaign's target is met.

We will also be submitting this body shell for EFRA (European) Homologation, so it can be used in sanctioned racing around the world - however there is NO GUARANTEE that it will pass EFRA Homologation.

EFRA (European) Homologation

This Camaro body shell design is based on the upcoming V8 Supercars Gen 3 touring cars that will be raced in Australia in 2023. The "V8 Supercars" category is recognised within EFRA rules, which means this shell is eligible for EFRA Homologation.

Whilst every effort will be made to ensure this body shell meets the EFRA Homologation requirements, there is NO GUARANTEE that it will pass.

If Homologation is successful, the body shells will include an EFRA body number cast into the rear number plate area.
