Orpheus Omega

For the 5th anniversary celebration of our breakthrough album Partum Vita Mortem, we at Orpheus Omega have decided to create a remixed and remastered version to be released as a Double LP record in a LIMITED black artwork edition! The last few years have seen a resurgence of vinyl attraction, and in 2020 the sale of vinyls outsold that of CD’s, showing what the fans truly want out of their music experience, and we’d love to provide you, our fans, that experience too. But we need your help!

We’d love to do the original album and artwork justice, so we have decided to go all out and design a triple gatefold version of the 2LP - same as the original CD - which would include all of the fantastic artwork masterfully designed by Niklas Sundin (Dark Tranquillity, Mitochondrial Sun). Plus, we have completely remixed and remastered the album to catch up with the sound of 2020 and ensure it is fantastic for vinyl listening with the help of our own Chris Themelco of Monolith Studios for the remix and Thomas "Plec" Johansson of The Panic Room in Sweden for the remaster. That’s correct, we’re going international for this to deliver the best sound possible! 

Due to this year’s unprecedented course, we’ve had to cancel a number of tours and lost an unfortunate chunk of funds, opportunities to engage with fans and the ability to fully share the Orpheus Omega experience we had prepared for 2020, so we'd like to try bring our community together and perform a crowdfunding campaign through Pozible to raise funds for this vinyl package. We’re not looking for forever lasting ongoing support, just a fan inspired opportunity to celebrate possibly our favourite and most loved work of art and music, and bring it to you in the best possible format for 2020 and beyond. 

We’re also hosting a raffle for each tier (excluding I'm With The Band!!! tier), so one lucky person per tier will receive a $50 store credit to our Orpheus Omega online store, so you can pick up even more goodies. It’ll feel like it’s raining Orpheus Omega merch! 

We’re really stoked to produce this, but only if you - the fans - want it. So we’ve set a goal that reflects how much we’d require to faithfully create this vinyl package for you. If we can’t make the limit, we cannot make the vinyl. We don’t want to create something that no one really wants, so shrew with all of your metal loving friends if you want to hold one of these fantastic beauties. This is a one-off opportunity and we will not be making more copies in the future. 

If we beat our goal however, we can increase the amount of goodness we have packed into this package, like cool looking splattered vinyl, limited edition slip mats for the vinyl collectors, who knows! All of the excess proceeds will go back into this campaign for the fans.
