I have lived in Tasmania for many years and always heard the talk of people seeing the elusive thylacine and or capturing a grainy over zoomed video/image of what looks to be a faint resemblance of the believed extinct creature.Whilst this is not the only species that can be explored it is my personal goal.

(white dots) known sights the thylacine has been said to have been sighted. The blue dots represent sights video and or still images have been submitted as evidence.

as you can see many areas are marked for possible locations of interest but i wish to setup in areas local to large groups of white/blue dots in the NE and NW of the state.Not right at the location but possible paths and hunting grounds in those areas.highlighted by orange areas

What i wish to achieve is a series of solar powered low impact (green) deep forest motion activated DAY-NIGHT color/ IR camera  traps that are all capable of high definition images  through sound and motion activation with wide angle view finders(were possible) Along with wireless CCTV style installations in multiple locations across the Tasmanian landscape. Mostly in areas that have previous sightings and others that Backers are wishing to have monitored along with some less studied but still promising areas. All the units will have data storage for on going video and image surveillance were possible for future community projects, This project has great potential to find the truth or put to rest the myth and rumors,or even add to the fire that we have loved to here about through the many years of growing up on this beautiful island .I have overseas suppliers of the equipment designed for the type of project i am proposing.

This project will involve some trekking to remote locations and in some areas that MAY BE subject to permissions from property owners and councils.for which i will seek via proper means prior to commencing any bush trekk
