I've fallen madly in love and in total fascination with the world of Tarot and Lenormand some time ago and have since been on a crash course of soaking up as much knowledge and wisdom in regards to cartomancy ever since then. Apart from the interesting story behind both oracle decks I've been really blown away by what is often revealed by the cards and how in almost every case, a querant (client/friend) will have so much peace and direction after a reading.

When I first heard about Mll. Lenormand, who was around in the late 1700'a, early 1800's - she was a famous Parisian fortune teller...known for her powerful connections & clients such as Empress Josephine and Napoleon, I just kinda thought "Ok, you're massively cool, the world needs reminding about you!" She wasn't just a freaky fabulous fortune teller, she was pretty controversial (not in the current Miley Cyrus kind of way), having been thrown in jail a few times during her life (not in the Paris Hilton kind of way), which may have had something to do with her telling Napoleon something he may not have wanted to hear she into jail she went.


Fortunately for her (pardon the pun) her popularity at the time was so great amongst other powerful Parisians that enough of them begged Napoleon to set her free which he eventually did. Not a bad effort considering an ego as healthy as one would presume Napoleon's may have been. Anyway, I just have this undeniable urge to take her story and the concept of the Lenormand deck to a modern and mainstream audience, all over the world, so that we can all tap into the wisdom that Mlle. Lenormand possessed but IMPORTANTLY we all have if we just accept that it's there. On a lighter note, I believe these cards will just be a whole lot of fun!!
