This tour is unlike any tour that MONOLITH has ever previously attempted. Across 18 shows metal/hardcore bands Palm (Japan) and A Secret Death (Gold Coast/Melbourne) will traverse every single state and territory of Australia. From capital cities to regional towns and even an indigenous community, the bands will play at DIY warehouse venues, clubs, bars, outdoors and even at a number of festivals alongside the likes of Thy Art Is Murder, Rolo Tomassi (UK), Encircling Sea, I Exist, The Schoenberg Automaton and more.

This movie endeavours to capture the journey not just in the live performances, but in the interactions that take place and relationships that are formed along the way through some of Australia's most unlikely touring destinations.

MONOLITH has been booking tours and shows since 2008, having worked with international bands such as Rosetta, City of Ships, Enabler, Graf Orlock, Loma Prieta, The_Network, and Australian bands like Robotosaurus, Totally Unicorn, In Trenches, Coerce, Night Hag, Lo!, Nuclear Summer, We Lost The Sea, IDYLLS, Waiting Room, Stockades, Urns and more.

Please note that we are only looking to cover THE VERY MINIMUM costs of getting this movie shot. We have chosen a small target because this is an experiment in that we've never attempted to sell tickets this way before and need to be relatively certain that we can reach the target. In reality the full scale production will cost a lot more, so every dollar beyond the target will certainly go to good use.
