Hey there! My name is Emily Perry. I’m 14 years old and I live in Sydney, Australia. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be an entertainer.

My mum calls me a “jack of all trades”. I can’t decide what I want to do most – dancing, singing or acting – and now I’m even trying my hand at movie making!

I started out with dance lessons when I was three and I haven’t stopped. I’m now in high school at a performing arts college and I also train at one of Australia's top dance schools here in Sydney.

I would guess I spend around 24 hours in performing arts classes every week - but I love it!

Over the last few years I've been lucky enough to go to the US every year for advanced training. I just love LA. I guess you could say I have the bug – the entertainment bug! BIG TIME!

So … back to the movie making. I wanted to create something that is my own that shows my skills. I have been writing my own songs and creating my own dance routines for a while now but after having the opportunity to meet with some Australian directors and writers – I wanted to write a script. And I have!

This is where I need your help.

My film is called Falling Sands and it is a story about two sisters – one whose battle is just ending and the other whose battle is just about to begin.

The film is ready to go, the script is done, the choreography is set, the score has been written. I even have a production team waiting to start. But I need some help raising the money to make this happen.

I'm asking for your support - and in return I'm promising you a great story, an outstanding film and some fantastic rewards. You can even be in the film!!

The Media Collective is an award-winning production company based in Sydney. They provide high quality, cost effective and innovative deliverables in media, design and production.

Tanzeal Rahim is a gifted producer and director who has won awards from prestigious international film festivals for his feature film, Muirhouse.

Tan is amazing – he’s so generous with his experience and knowledge. I am so fortunate to be mentored by him and he is teaching me what is involved in making a film "behind the camera" - but that doesn't mean he's doing all the work. He explains what needs to be done, shows me examples then makes me do the work - but it's great fun and I am learning so much!

· Brendon Maher - award winning sound recordist and designer

· Dwayne Labbe - Emmy award winning ex-Hannah Barbera, Walt Disney Television, Warner Bros Commercials Worldwide and Ren & Stimpy animator

This is going to be a well made film!
