Empty Magazine is about supporting and celebrating talented artists. We love art and love publishing work that may not be seen in print otherwise. Empty is not about profit. We do not have paid advertising, we simply showcase as much art as we can in the pages available. We want Empty to continue in some form, without compromising the principals it was set up with.

Since officially closing Empty after Issue 22, we have been thinking of ways to resurrect the magazine. We never wanted to end the mag, but it felt like the best decision at the time.

With this in mind, we recently came up with the idea of publishing the 'Empty Annual'. Which, truth be told will not be very different to a normal Empty issue. Not too much will change.

The biggest change is that this time we are looking to crowd-fund the magazine. We are not asking you to finance it, we are simply asking that you pre-purchase your copy (with free worldwide shipping) and if we receive enough funding to cover the costs involved we will print the Annual. If not, at least we will not have racked up another huge print bill that we can't afford.

We are very excited about resurrecting Empty and, if this project is successful, will work to keep it going again. We have always had great support from our readers, and hope that you can support this new style crowd-funded issue.
